The fashion of returning classic films that were released in the 1980s continues. An endless supply of prequels, sequels remakes, and reboots are coming to us with two new trailers released this morning. One trailer is the film “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”, Tim Burton’s follow-up film to his 1988 film “Beetlejuice”. I’m not convinced there was a lot of fans that wished for the release of a “Beetlejuice” sequel. However, here we are 36 years later and I am being a moderate fan of the first film, and pleasantly interested in this latest installment.

I’m sure many will to “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” just to revisit Burton’s bizarre world of the supernatural. My favorite attraction is the appearance of the legendary Michael Keaton. At 70, Keaton still shows signs of that raunchy energy that was an integral part of his earlier films. I’m eager to see him unleash that energy again. The trailer we’ve seen provides a glimpse of what’s in store as well as the return from Winona Ryder as well as Catherine O’Hara.

“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” hits theaters on the 6th of September. Watch the trailer below, and let me know if be watching it or if you’ll take the time to skip it.
