Katy Perry Teases Upcoming Era With Announcement of New Single ‘Woman’s World,’ Releasing July 11

Following her recent private listening sessions to her forthcoming new album Katy Perry has made it clear that the first single from the album, “Woman’s World,” will be released next month.

The pop singer plans to release “Woman’s World” on July 11 at 7 p.m. ET and the official video due to be released the next day. Perry also unveiled the single cover art, which was shot by Jack Bridgland, portraying her wearing metallic armor-like pants and bikini top. Perry shared a small snippet from “Woman’s World” on TikTok singing along with her lyrics on a self-portrait video.

Information is scarce about Perry’s sixth release, but it’s not yet given a title or release date. It’s been more than an entire year from the time Perry came out with “Smile,” which was released in the month of August. The album was a collection of singles, including “Daisies” and the title track. The album was also her lowest-performing album of the past few the past few years, debuting at the number. 5 on the Billboard 200.

In the period between “Smile,” Perry descended upon Las Vegas for her Play residency that was in place from 2021 until 2023. The final show held in November, revealed her coming time, with the phrase “See you next year” flashing on the screen at the end of the show.

Perry has been busy outside of music, including her role as juror in “American Idol” for seven seasons. Then, in February of this year, Perry made it clear that the 22nd season of the show would be her last. she ended her time as a judge on “American Idol” in the month of May. Then, in September the catalog was sold for $255 million Litmus Music, the company backed by Carlyle, which was founded in 2022. She also bought the rights of Keith Urban’s master records.
