Kevin Costner addressed rumors he and Jewel are together in “The Howard Stern Show.” He claimed that, while “she’s special,” the pair are not in a relationship.
Hold your horses: Kevin Costner and Jewel are not an item, he says.
The ” Yellowstone” star 69, denied reports that he’s dating the songwriter and singer who is on “The Howard Stern Show,” insisting that they’re friends.
“We’ve never gone out, ever,” the actor stated. “She’s special, and I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have. I mean, she’s beautiful enough to go out with.”
Costner separated with the woman he was married to, Christine Baumgartner, in 2023, after 18 years of marriage. They have three children together. The couple reached the what the representative of Costner described USA Today as an “amicable and mutually agreed upon” settlement in September.

In December Jewel and the “Horizon” actor and Jewel were the subject of dating rumors when TMZ revealed they traveled to the Caribbean together for fundraising for her foundation at Richard Branson’s Necker Island. They were seen getting “flirty” with one another.
In contrast, Costner stressed on “The Howard Stern Show” that he traveled across the ocean with nine other people who included Jewel as well as Emma Watson, and Branson invited him to join them. While on the trip, Costner claimed to have experienced “tremendous conversations” with both Jewel and Watson.
“The rumor was I went down on a private plane with her, I went back on a private plane,” he added. “I was on with nine people, and I don’t want the press to ruin this for us because I’ve had conversations with her text wise, and she’s so smart.”
Costner said, “We have a friendship. We don’t have a romantic relationship. We haven’t had a romantic relationship. She’s gorgeous and smart enough to handle all of those things. This hasn’t been the case for us.”
The actor also said to Stern that he’s not currently loving anyone right now however, he did say “I like the idea of that.”

Jewel has previously addressed Costner dating speculation within the article in Elle that was published in April. She kept her distance. “He’s a great person,” she said to Elle and added to there was “public fascination is intense for sure.”
The actress was interviewed in May. interview for People magazine which was published in May Jewel was also politely denying on the possibility of a relationship.
“I found love, and I’m not talking about Kevin’s,” she stated. “I’m so happy, irrelevant of a man. It has nothing to do with being in a relationship or not being in one.”
