Peso Pluma has been instantly everywhere in the last year thanks to his unique voice that is powered by charchetas trombones, and- possibly his most significant instrument – his raspy and nasally vocals. In just a few months the Mexican-born corridos performer was one of the most prominent musicians in Latin music and, without doubt the king of regional Mexican music’s newest generation of pop stars.

After having a few songs in the Billboard Hot 100 and officially instigating the corridos revival and pushed it into mainstream territory -and Peso continued to push the trend by releasing its Grammy-winning Genesis album, which set the bar high when it was released and reached the number. 3. Billboard 200, the highest position for an album of Mexican music album in the Billboard 200.

When Genesisserved in a way for an opening to Peso Pluma -even though Peso had released two albums previouslyExodo Exodohas an entirely different goal. It could be viewed as a statement of Peso’s mission in his ongoing exploration of what kind of artist he would like to be. The dual, two-disc album — one featuring corridos, the other hip-hop Peso does not fit within local Mexican space, and is more of an artist that is hard to define which isn’t necessarily good thing.

The variety that Peso exhibits with Exodo is just the beginning of opening doors for the superstar of 25 who, despite recording outside of the region of Mexican was already gaining huge mainstream recognition. As he now raps both in English and Spanish and sings alongside the English-speaking hitmakers such as Cardi BQuavo and Rich the Kid and Rich the Kid Peso is demonstrating his determination to become a truly international artist.

Following, Billboard ranks the 24 songs of Exodo in ascending order.
