Lainey Wilson Shares ‘Whirlwind’ Track List Featuring a Miranda Lambert Collab

Lainey Wilson has revealed the tracks for her new album ‘Whirlwind that features an arrangement with Miranda Lambert.

Lainey Wilson has revealed the track list for Whirlwind , her follow-up to 2022’s Bell Bottom Country.

“Writing & recording these 14 songs over the past couple of years has helped me stay grounded in ways you’d never believe,” Wilson wrote in a caption to an Instagram post that revealed the album’s tracklist. “This album brought me back to my roots and made me feel at home during times when I couldn’t have been further away and my biggest hope is that it gives you that same sense of comfort that it has for me.”

The album’s 14 tracks include an album song that was recorded in collaboration together with Miranda Lambert titled “Good Horses.” It includes the track “4x4xU,” which is due to drop prior to the album on July 4. “Y’all can pre-save, pre-add, or pre-order it now to get a sneak peek of 4x4xU tomorrow,” she announced, hinting at Whirlwind‘s forthcoming single.

Wilson has previously released her Whirlwindsingles ” Hang Tight Honey” and ” Country’s Cool Again.” The album the third studio album she has released on behalf of BBR Music Group, finds Wilson working together with her Producer Jay Joyce once again.

As well as this Whirlwind announcement, Wilson unleashed the new single ” Out of Oklahoma” from the soundtrack to Twisterslast week. In regards to her contribution to the music video, Wilson posted in her Instagram, “It’s wild how life throws a theme at you ain’t it, my life the past few years has felt like a twister … hence why I titled my new album Whirlwind.“

She went on to say: “So when I got the chance to write a song in the upcoming Twisters film It was an opportunity I could not refuse. After reading Kate’s story, I noticed many parallels to our lives. We’re both on the hunt for insane and exciting jobs, but they help us feel something, and provide us a sense of belonging.”
