To Serve His Country, President Biden Should Leave the Race

Donald Trump is a serious threat to democracy. Donald Trump is unpredictable, self-interested, and unworthy to the public’s trust.
Mr. Biden has said that he is the best candidate for defeating this threat. However, his victory in the 2020 elections is not enough to make him the Democratic nominee this year.
To win the election, the president must convince voters that he can handle the duties of the office he is seeking to run for again. Voters cannot ignore what’s obvious: Biden looks different today than he did four years ago.
The president struggled on Thursday night to explain what he would accomplish in his new term.
Mr. Biden is an admirable president. He led the nation to prosperity under his leadership.
