Shilese jones withdraws from the remainder of U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials

According USA Gymnastics, Shilese Jones , a six-time medalist at the world championships has withdrawn from the final day of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

Jones scored 14.675 for uneven bars on the first night. The rest of the competition was cancelled.

Jones hurt her knee in the warm-up prior to the competition but the diagnosis has not been confirmed.

Jones withdrawn from the U.S. Championships three weeks before Trials because of a persistent shoulder injury.

Kayla diCello withdrew from the Tokyo Olympic alternate competition after tearing her Achilles in the vaulting. Skye Blakely two-time world champ also suffered a ripped achilles just weeks before the competition.
