UFC fighter Tracy Cortez makes weight by cutting off her hair ahead of her fight with Rose Namajunas
Cortez created an unplanned cut to trim down another half-pound prior to the beginning of her flyweight bout in the ring with Namajunas in the ring on Saturday.

the UFC in ESPN The entire 59 weigh-ins have been published and, despite a few controversies, every fighter who took part in the fights left their impression.
In the main bout, former strawweight women’s champion Rose Namajunas (13-6 MMA, 10-5 UFC) takes on Tracy Cortez (11-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) and will fight at first an UFC main fight. Namajunas, who was a Flyweight and was fighting for the third time in a row, had none of the problems, and she was the first one to the scale. She measured 124.75 pounds. But, Cortez was unable to achieve her weight goal on her first attempt at 126.5. Cortez had only a few minutes during the weigh-in time to get on the scale. She then returned with a little hair cut to give her the number of 126.
In the main event of heavyweights, Santiago Ponzinibbio (29-7 MMA UFC) and Santiago Ponzinibbio (29-7 MMA, 11-6 UFC) as well as Muslim Salikhov (19-5 MMA, 4-4 UFC) both scored 171.
The weigh-ins were held at the UFC hotel which holds the tournament in Denver. The close Ball Arena hosts Saturday’s event (ESPN/ESPN+).
