The team USA continues to work on preparing to attempt for a fifth gold medal of the year in the sport of basketball for males as they prepare for 2024’s Olympics which will be held in Paris.

In the afternoon, Team USA defeated South Sudan in a game that was 101-100 in London as the first of two exhibition games in the O2 Arena. LeBron James scoring a layup with only eight seconds left to win the game. Team USA was trailing to 14 at halfway point. Carlik Jones had a triple-double for South Sudan (15 points, 11 rebounds as well as 11 assists) in a dazzling performance. The shot he missed was with 4 seconds remaining which could have secured the win.

Team USA will take on Germany on Monday, prior to leaving for France.

U.S. has already defeated other Olympic teams in their preparations to go for Paris. The team beat Serbia and Australia in two games held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The two games were played following an impressive win over Canada in Las Vegas on July 10.

For the Olympics, Team USA will participate in three C-C matches at Lille at the end of July on 28th day of July (Serbia) and the 31st day of July (South Sudan) and the 28th of August (South Sudan). 3. (Puerto Rico).
