FEI Announces temporary suspension for dressage rival Charlotte Dujardin (GBR)

FEI has announced publicly the suspension of British Sporting athlete in dressage Charlotte Dujardin (FEI ID: 10028440) beginning on the day the announcement was made, that will be the 23rd July in 2024. This suspension will make her ineligible at the forthcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games or any other competitions that fall under the jurisdiction are under the control of FEI.

“Charlotte expressed her deep regret over her actions and we appreciate her willingness to take on the responsibility of. In spite of the unfortunate date, this action affirms the FEI’s commitment to wellbeing of our horses, as they are guardians of our horse companions as well as respect for the morality of our sport. 

To maintain an integrity to the probe and ensure an investigation’s integrity FEI will not make any further comments on this issue until the investigation has been completed.
