Thousands protest as Netanyahu addresses US Congress

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told US lawmakers “our enemies are your enemies” in a moving speech to Congress that was intended to build supporters for the war to defeat Hamas in Gaza however, it was accompanied by protests from Palestinians both at of the Capitol.

She expressed her hope that the premier would spend time working on the “ceasefire deal that will bring the hostages home”.
