‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Casts Yerin Ha as Benedict’s Love Interest Sophie Beckett (EXCLUSIVE)

“Bridgerton” has cast Yerin Ha as Benedict’s love-interest for Season 4. Variety has discovered.

“ Bridgerton ” has cast Yerin Ha as Benedict Bridgerton’s love interest for Season 4.

According to reports, Ha will play Sophie Beckett in the next season of the cult Shondalandand Shondaland the Netflix series. As previously revealed that Season 4 will be a continuation of Benedict’s (Luke Thompson) love story. It will be inspired by the events in Julia Quinn’s three-book “Bridgerton” novel, “An Offer From a Gentleman.”

Reps from Netflix and Shondaland did not respond to requests for provide a response. Reps from Ha have not responded to a request for comments.

The official logline of this season “The Fourth season of “Bridgerton” shifts its focus on the bohemian son of Benedict. Despite his younger and elder brothers being happy to be married Benedict refuses to be settled down until he meets the captivating lady dressed in Silver at the masquerade ball of his mother.”

Beckett plays the role of “Lady in Silver.” In the novel, she’s the daughter of an unnamed earl and one of his maids. She was raised at the house of her father but the earl never publicly acknowledged her as his daughter.

Ha is most likely best known to American viewers for her part on her role in the Paramount+ series adaptation of the “Halo” video games. She was featured as Kwan Ha in all seasons of the show as Kwan Ha. Other roles include Australian series “Reef Break,” “Troppo,” and “Bad Behaviour,” as and”Sissy,” an indie horror movie “Sissy.” She will take on the role of Kwan Ha on”the” Max prequel show “Dune: Prophecy,” scheduled to premiere this November via the streaming service.

She is represented through WME as well as Morrissey Management.

“Bridgerton” Season 3 was released in two episodes in two parts on Netflix between May until June 2024. This show has been renewed until Season 4. to 2021. It’s likely to run for another season, as it’s among the most watched shows to air in Netflix history. Three seasons of the show are among the top 10 most-viewed English television shows ever made on the platform. Season 3 alone has racked more than 103 million views in the first three months even though it only lasted only a couple of months.

“Bridgerton” is executive produced by Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, and Tom Verica of Shondaland along with Chris Van Dusen, who created the show for TV. Jess Brownell is the showrunner and executive producer. Shondaland is currently in an overall agreement with Netflix.
