A 2024 Thank You to The Mile High Hockey staff
The season came to an end in a tragic way however, our hearts beg for the readers.

I did the same sort of post after the season ended last year and scared people into thinking the site was shutting down. Before I go on, don’t worry—we aren’t going anywhere!
Another year of thank-yous will be coming up for you, our readers at Mile High Hockey! The community you contribute to is can be found here to discuss about all matters Colorado Avalanche and keep up to date with all the latest news, reports and game coverage that we provide. It would be impossible without you, and I want to thank all of you on behalf all of us.
The Avs were able to get further at a minimum, in comparison to last year’s season even though it was just one more round. The game didn’t go as smoothly as everyone would have hoped, in and out of the ice and we’ll only be hoping for better results in the championship window, and a better chance for the team to take home the Stanley Cup.
There’s still some hockey left to play in the conference finals as well as Stanley Cup Finals. While the Avs aren’t part of the tournament, we’ll be seeing players from the New York Rangers and Florida Panthers out East and they will be playing in the Dallas Stars host one of the Vancouver Canucks or Edmonton Oilers next week. There will be daily threads about games on the schedule for viewers to talk about in comments if they wish to and begin this evening when we play the game Six in the series between Oilers as well as the Canucks.
The Avalanche world there will be plenty to keep an eye on from a front office’s perspective ( particularly surrounding Valeri Nichushkin’s latest situation) in addition to the usual free agency decisions and The NHL Draft hosted at The Sphere in Las Vegas, and rookie camp in July. It’s the next time we’ll see the Avs’ jerseys on the ice together as a team. Then, what seems like a long time until the beginning of the next season, which will include training camp and preseason starting in September, and the regular season to begin in October.
For the site’s content going forward, nothing will alter. But I’ve learned much more about the industry just one year after I graduated from college. I’m going to make some enjoyable modifications to make the website even better in the future as well as a lot more fan and reader interaction also. If you have any ideas, specific areas of interest, or suggestions for improvements to the site, I’m open to hearing from you.
Like I stated in the beginning We’re not going anywhere. We’re looking forward to 2023-2024 for the Colorado Avalanche, and a bright future for the team as well as this website. Go Avs Go.
