SDM Tiwari said the four additional bodies that were discovered on Thursday were taken to Bhatwari. It was determined that they were Venkatesh Prasad (53) Padmanadha Kundapur Krishnamurthy (50), Anita Rangappa (60) and Padmini Hegde (34).
The deceased five found earlier in the day were classified to be Sindhu Vakekalam (44), Asha Sudhakar (71), Sujatha Mungurwadi (52) Vinayak Munggurwadi (55) as well as Chitra Praneeth (48) the official added.
The team was supposed to return on June 7, but it was unable to return because of bad weather when they approached Sahastra Tal from the last base camp, Uttarkashi District Magistrate Meharban Singh Bisht had stated.
