The Beach Boys were celebrated at the world premiere of a brand new Disney+ documentary about the legendary band. The evening featured some unforgettable and surprising moments.

ET was present at the premier on Tuesday in the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, in which the first Beach Boys member Brian Wilson was on stage, and received an applause upon his arrival in a wheelchair, and then reunited with the rest of the legendary group.

ET’s Ash Crossan spoke with Brian’s daughters, Carnie Wilson and Wendy Wilson, at the ceremony, and they spoke about their father’s health issues following his having been diagnosed as suffering from a neurological disorder. He was put under conservatorship by the courts earlier in the year.

“He is doing great! He is doing great. Everyday he is in physical therapy. I’m cooking for him, he’s spending a lot of time with his children now, his family,” Carnie told me with smile. “I’m extremely happy that he’s here this evening.
