The cover of SLAM featured Cameron Brrink, a rookie for the LA Sparks. Brink is one of many stars who will be part of a special 250th edition of SLAM.
Brink, a rookie from the Chicago Sky, joined Angel Reese on the cover of SLAM 250 ahead of the WNBA Season. The cover story highlights Brink’s journey from being a hooper to a woman with disproportionately tall heights.
Brink talked about his experience with LA Clippers star Paul George on “Podcast P With Paul George.”

It was crazy, really. The day after the draft. Oh my god, it’s all a blur. The day after the draft, I had the opportunity to shoot with Cool Mac. He works with Bronny. We shot the video on our phones. It was super clear on a Google Pixel. It was a great honor. Every hooper’s fantasy.”
Brink was featured as one player wearing Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS shapewear. Steph Curry’s god-sister, who is also the Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Steph Brink, has made waves in recent years with her Draft Day and hopes to do so again with the Sparks.

Cameron Brink, in the same podcast was asked how it felt to be Steph’s God-sister. The Sparks forward described it as a ‘joy to have the four-time NBA champion in my life’. She recalled a particular story.
“He’s very similar to what he was before. It’s this one particular story that I can remember. I was in the pool at their North Carolina home with Sydel, Curry’s sister. We splashed water on him and he pretended to melt, like the evil witch of the West.
He’s like a theater kid… He is very theatrical and silly. He is always being silly and acting like a fool. He is a delight. He is always so much fun. He taught me how to bring joy to all things, which is something we know he does very well. He’s always smiling, laughing and joking. When you’re with him, life is a pure joy. “
The Sparks have lost their first two games of the 2024 WNBA. Brink and his team will have to wait until the end of the season before they can turn the season around after a disappointing start.
