Crunchyroll, Sony Pictures Entertainment and other partners are giving the Demon Slayer franchise a grand finale. Partners announced on Sunday that they would release Demon Slayer : Kimetsu no Yaiba infinity Castle, the final episodes of the hit anime series, in cinemas around the world. The three-part episode is the culmination and final arc of the award-winning anime series.

Mugen Train was an earlier film from the Demon Slayersaga. With more than $500,000,000 in ticket sales, it currently holds the title as the highest-grossing Japanese and anime film at the global box office.

Rahul Purini, Crunchyroll president, said: “We’re thrilled to bring this trilogy to fans and the big screen. This promises to be a significant and epic pop-cultural event.

Crunchyroll acquired worldwide rights to this title. The release date for this title has yet to be announced.

Demonslayer Kimetsu No Yaaiba is based on the manga series Koyoharu GOTOGE, published by Shueisha Jump Comics. The manga is comprised of 23 volumes, and it has sold over 150,000,000 copies.

Ufotable is a Tokyo-based company that produces various anime TV and film adaptations of Demon Slayer. This property has been a major player in the global rise for Japanese anime.
