MIAMI -MIAMI – Dolphins player Tua Tagovailoa departed Thursday’s 31-10 defeat against Buffalo Bills. Buffalo Bills after sustaining a concussion in the 3rd quarter. This was the third concussion in the player’s NFL career.

It was not clear if there would be a particular timeframe for his return.

The incident occurred as Tagovailoa was running in the middle to take the first down, and then struck violently using his helmet in side of Bills safety Damar Hamlin. Tagovailoa responded by edging the ball by placing his arms in an unnatural position.

Medical trainers cared for Tagovailoa for a short period of time while the players gathered around the participant. He was eventually able to walk onto the field and back to the changing area independently however, he was then exiled from the area for remaining time.

Dolphins Head coach Mike McDaniel was expected to inform Tagovailoa about his condition when he met to reporters on Friday morning.

After the match, McDaniel said Tagovailoa was in “good spirits,” but the player didn’t make a comment on the future for the five-year veteran.

“Right now … it is more about getting a proper procedural evaluation tomorrow and taking it one day at a time,” McDaniel declared. “The most distant thing that I can think about is what’s the deadline. It’s just a matter of evaluating and think about my colleague. … It’s going to have more information on the matter tomorrow and go day-by-day from there.

Dolphins offensive lineman Austin Jackson was one of the players closest to Tagovailoa after the injury. Jackson admitted that he was able to look into Tagovailoa’s gaze and realize that he “wasn’t there all the way,” and almost immediately fell asleep.

“Crushed. I’m disgusted to see him do this,” Jackson said. Jackson who was selected 13th in the draft following Tagovailoa’s selection the date of the 2020 NFL Draft. “Even given his history already in this kind of thing, I’m not thrilled to see him get caught doing this. I’m very disappointed that he ran to the bank. I’d like to get my money back to everyone else. I would have been more successful.

Third-year athlete Skylar Thompson is the last scoring player in place of Tagovailoa. Thompson is expected to begin in the event Tagovailoa isn’t in the lineup to play Seattle Seahawks. Seattle Seahawks in Week 3.

Thompson was an active player in three games with the rookie in 2022 which included a loss in the playoffs home at Buffalo. McDaniel declared that he and his Dolphins feel confident, and they have “utmost confidence” in Thompson however, they didn’t make a decision on whether to compete in the league against Seahawks.

“I do not know when our next game will be. I’m not worried about this,” McDaniel stated. “We played Skylar as an rookie. When the season was in danger and we found the way to win an elimination game, and then play toe-to-toe with similar teams in a postseason game. I think he’s a significantly more successful now than he was when he first started. They are the things that the team is adamant about and I’m convinced that the players trust Skylar and this is why I have total faith in Skylar.

Tagovailoa became the center of intense interest in 2022, after his head was hit against his head by the ground in a game between Bills Bills. Following the fall, he was falling when he returned to the Dolphins huddle. He then had a short break during the game before getting back to play after what was believed to be an injury to his back.

It was discovered that both the NFL and NFLPA initiated a joint investigation to investigate how Tagovailoa had been treated. This led to the NFLPA taking advantage of its right to revoke the neuro specialist who was not affiliated with the NFL and approved Tagovailoa to return to the field. The NFL has also modified its policy regarding concussions in order to incorporate an ataxia clause that allows an official to have players removed from the field when they show certain symptoms that suggest concussion.

The following day Tagovailoa hit at the crown of his head with the ground in the same manner during a game where he was playing with the Cincinnati Bengals and was briefly unconscious. He was taken to an area hospital in which he was found to be suffering from a head injury. McDaniel as well as the Dolphins were criticised for their decision to let Tagovailoa to participate.

Tagovailoa was absent for two games before returning to the field, but he suffered a second concussion in his game on December. 25, game against the Green Bay Packers. The Packers were in a position to stop him. Dolphins kept him out throughout the season.

Tagovailoa has revealed that he thought about retirement after 2022 after a conversation with the two of his parents. In an interview last one month of “The Dan Le Batard Show,” he revealed how his mom urged him to consider taking a break. He opted against it and during the offseason, he focused on building up his strength and began making preparations for jiu-Jitsu classes in order to learn how to fall and not crash his head to the floor.

If you questioned him, McDaniel suggested the events that took place in 2022 would not impact the way in which the team is managing Tagovailoa at the moment.

“I think it’s important to approach each and every situation … every injury with [the mindset of], ‘We’re going to handle this particular situation with this particular player,'” he said. “Every situation is different. I’m not concerned about anything that is out of my control in the sense of my personal safety, I’m more concerned with the human being and it will be his turn to steer the ship once we have the proper details. However, it’s about day-to-day fitness … especially with concussions.

As well as his season finale at Alabama Tagovailoa’s total of four concussions identified in the past 5 times. In his time playing with the Crimson Tide in 2019, the player was diagnosed with an injury to the brain and also a broken nose in the same game, in which he was injured by an injury to his hip and also an injury to the wall which is around the hip socket.

McDaniel was asked is it appropriate to allow Tagovailoa continue to play football based on his previous experiences with Concussions. McDaniel was obviously stressed, and he stated it was not something he would wish to think about the issue.

“I do not approach issues that I’m not sure about in terms of knowledge. I’m there to help my teammates,” he stated. “For me to attempt to make predictions on things that I don’t know about in my particular area that isn’t something I’m an authority in I believe it’s an appropriate idea. I think we’ll be able to get more details on the situation Tua is in. Tua will be able to spend a considerable amount of time being analyzed and then we’ll have discussions and move forward as required.

Many members of the Bills expressed their concerns in their support for Tagovailoa after the game.

the coach Sean McDermott said the injury “didn’t look good” and expressed his thoughts and prayers were with the Tagovailoa family. The Quarterback Josh Allen called Tagovailoa an “even greater human” than football player. We wish his family all the most successful of times.

“Very sad. It’s the most painful part of the game” Allen declared. “Nothing except prayers and love for his family and to him. I’m sure everyone will send them as he will require them. This is by far the most difficult thing to do in the game.
