Kemba Walker scored 12,009 point for the Hornets to establish the record for all-time points scored by a team.
Kemba Walker has been the most prolific scorer in Charlotte Hornets history and a four-time all-star over all of his 12 NBA seasons. Kemba Walker has announced his retirement from basketball on Tuesday.
Walker was an athlete in AS Monaco of the Euroleague during the season. He spent eight seasons as a member of the Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets (2011-19), two seasons playing for the Boston Celtics (2019-21) and one season as a player of both the New York Knicks (2021-22) and Dallas Mavericks (2022-23) in his NBA career.
In his social media post, Walker wrote: “Basketball has been more beneficial in my life than what I imagined, and I am extremely thankful for the amazing experience I’ve experienced. So, I’m pleased to announce that I’m officially stepping down in basketball.
“This was a goal that I thought about for quite a while. In retrospect I’m amazed by what I achieved during my professional life. “

6 feet tall, the 6-footer a Three-time NBA All-Star in Charlotte, and later, in his debut season, he played in Boston in the 2019-2020 season.
