Simone Biles“Mother” revealed on Friday she will Simone plans to not attend the ceremony’s floating Parade of Nations to rest in preparation for her competitions, however she did say on the fact that Simone is doing great.
“The first competition is Sunday, which is woman’s qualifier, and of course she needs to rest up before that competition,” Simone’s mother Nellie Biles spoke with NBC News’ Hoda Kotb on the live broadcast of the ceremony.
“She is feeling great. I spoke to her this morning and she’s doing fantastic. “
Nellie Biles said Simone is happy that her family and friends of 17 will cheer her on during her trip into Paris.
