Phelps – the most Decorated Olympian of all Time — to join Daytime as well Primetime shows with NBC as well Peacock & Swimming Coverage from Paris La Defense Arena

Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympics is Friday, July 26, on NBC, Peacock, and Telemundo

STAMFORD, Conn. 21 June 20242024 – 21 June 2024Michael Phelps has earned greater than total Olympic medals (28) and gold medals (23) than anyone else in the history of sports, will be part of the NBCUniversal coverage of the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad in Paris this summer. It was announced on Tuesday.

Phelps who will be returning to the NBCU coverage following his participation in for the Tokyo Olympics for 2021. will provide commentary and analysis of the morning and primetime shows that air in Paris at NBC and Peacock and will be joined by Dan Hicks and Rowdy Gaines in the booth to cover a specific swimming events at the Paris La Defense Arena. Elizabeth Beisel will serve as a correspondent/analyst and Melissa Stark a reporter at the swimming venue in Paris.

The broadcast will begin this evening around 8.30 p.m. ET/PT NBC as well as Peacock, Phelps, who was a participant at 5 Olympic Games from 2000-16, will join Hicks and Gaines in the studio during NBC Sports’ coverage of the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials in Indianapolis.

When they come to Paris during the July holiday, best athletes will be competing against an impressive backdrop in one of the stunning cities in the world, where they will compete in the most modern Olympic Games were conceived 130 years ago. This is three times Paris has been the host of Olympic games in the Olympics (1900 as well as 1924) which will tie London as the top contender time as an Summer Games host. Los Angeles (1932, 1984) will join the two cities as it hosts its first Summer Games in the U.S. in 32 years, in 2028.
