Modi clears PM-Kisan 17th instalment: How farmers can check payment status
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday signed the 17th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN Nidhi) scheme. The scheme will benefit over millions of farmers and will provide more than 20000 crore.16th installment of Prime Minister KISAN scheme was announced on February 28, 2024.

What is PM-KISAN Nidhi
PM-KISAN Nidhi is a federal government initiative that was announced in December 2018 to boost the farmers’ income through providing a financial aid of Rs 6000. The cash is distributed in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each 4 months, directly to beneficiaries ‘ bank accounts using Direct Benefit Transfer. The more than 93 million farm families received Rs 2000 in the 16th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana.
What do farmers have to do in order to receive the 17th installment
They have to complete the documents, including the e-know the customer (KYC) process.
For the completion of eKYC procedure for PM Kisan Follow these instructions:
Go to the official website: https://pmkisan.gov.in
Choose”eKYC” or the “eKYC” option under the “farmer corner” section.
Input the 12-digit Aadhaar Number in the appropriate field.
Select”search” or “search” button.
Enter the OTP which is sent to your registered mobile number.
Click”submit” to submit your information “submit” button to complete the eKYC procedure.
You can also go through the eKYC procedure at the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) by giving you with your Aadhaar number and then undergoing biometric authentication
How do I check the PM-KISAN Instalment status
Visit the PM-KISAN site.
From the home page, look for the ‘farmers ‘ corner’ section.
Select the ‘beneficiary status’ button.
Input the registered Aadhaar number or the number of your bank account.
Click on the ‘Get Data click on the ‘get data.
Status of the PMKSAN instalment will be visible at the top of your screen.
