The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president N. Chandrababu Naidu will take oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on June 12 at 11.27 a.m.
An area near an IT park in Kesarapalle close to Gannavaram Airport has been selected in for the venue of the ceremony of taking the oath.
National Democratic Alliance (NDA)’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, along with a handful of important NDA officials, and Chief Ministers of several other States will be in attendance at the ceremony.
Initially it was thought that the TDP leadership had identified a venue close to AIMS in Mangalagiri for the ceremony. However, since it’s not suitable for a variety of reasons, including safety, Kesarapalle has been finalised.
Of the 175 Assembly constituencies of which the NDA took 164 seats -the TDP got 135 seats, while The JSP 21, and BJP eight seats. The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) took 11 seats.
All eyes are now on the cabinet and government formation. The alliance partners’ obligations (JSP as well as BJP) and officials who served as Ministers before as well as the seniority of their respective regions castinge and gender equations are just a few of the variables that may influence the final decision.
