Nate Diaz gets revenge over Jorge Masvidal with boxing win

It took more than five years for it to be completed, nevertheless Nate Diaz finally had his revenge against Jorge Masvidal in an official boxing ring on Saturday.
Diaz beat Masvidal in a majority decision throughout their 10-round match in a pay-perview event held at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Three judges included two judges who scored the fight as a fierce combat, with back-andforth fighting and an enthralling finish, ruled for Diaz with scores of 98-92 and 97-93. A third judge awarded an equal draw, 95 to 95.
The victory was overturned by Diaz’s third round TKO loss in the third round to Masvidal on November 19, when both fighters fought in the UFC’s inaugural BMF title fight. Masvidal was victorious after the decision of a doctor that Diaz was not able to continue due of an injury. Diaz did not agree. Following Saturday’s victory Diaz requested two additional fights. Jake Paul, who beat the boxer before, and UFC champion Leon Edwards.
“I’m going to beat Jake Paul’s f—ing ass and I’m down to fight the highest-ranked boxer I can find,” Diaz declared. “My principal goal is to become the top boxer in the world. I’m determined to return to win the UFC title. [UFC Welterweight champion” Leon Edwards, Jake Paul and everyone elseotherwise are dead. “
Masvidal 39. Masvidal quit MMA in April. However, he has made previous hints of a return in the near future. He also stated that he was not satisfied with the results of the fight and pleaded for a second fight against Diaz.
“I thought I won,” Masvidal declared. “I believed I hit harder shots. It’s possible to repeat it and we’re 1-0. We’ll find a spot and repeat the feat. “
It was a legendary Diaz performance where Diaz simply took on Masvidal with his speed throughout the 175-pound match. Masvidal was capable of landing more powerful punches, but Diaz’s famous jaw was never in danger and his speed was an effective weapon throughout the bout. Sometimes Diaz smiled and shakes his head at Masvidal while they kept throwing punches until the last bell.
