Prince George, Charlotte, Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis Pen delicious Father’s Day message to dad Prince William
The five members of the family participated in the Trooping the Colour parade the day before.
Prince William received a special message from his children for Father’s Day this year.
To commemorate the day on June 16th The official Instagram account of Prince and Princess of Wales Prince and Princess of Wales shared a picture that showed Prince William and three of his children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte 9 and Prince Louis 6.
The picture, captured by Catherine the Princess of Wales in Norfolk this month, shows William standing on the beach alongside George, Charlotte, and Louis. In the adorable photo, the entire family was with their backs facing the camera, and they threw their arms around each other.
The caption posted the message of George, Charlotte, and Louis to their fathers and read, “We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day.”
Kensington Palace confirmed that this is the first time that a message from a child was posted to social media channels of the Prince as well as the Princess of Wales the social media channels.
William also honored his father’s birthday on the holiday, and he marked the occasion with a blog post dedicating it to the his father, King Charles III.
Through Instagram, William posted a throwback image of his childhood with his father. The photo was taken by young William dressed in the striped shirt with a pair of overalls, while his father was wearing grey suit. The father-son pair were out during the snap and Charles looking like he was kicking the ball towards his happy son.
“Happy Father’s Day, Pa,” the caption read. It was and was signed by William’s initials.
Prior to Father’s Day, the royal family gathered at Trooping the Colour on the 15th of June in the wake of Kate Middleton and Charles’ health concerns. The news broke in February that it had been revealed that Charles has been diagnosed as having cancer as was the case with Kate Middleton. Kate announced her own diagnosis of cancer in March following abdominal surgery earlier in the year.
Kate returned to the limelight during the annual event that marked the birthday of the King, and she was in a carriage along alongside her kids. She also stepped out on the balcony of Buckingham Palace alongside William and their children as well as Charles as well as his spouse Queen Camilla.
The day prior to the celebration, Kate gave a rare update on the health of her in a statement to the public in which she said that she had made “good progress” with her chemotherapy treatment.
In her statement, she noted in a separate section that she is looking forward to going to the event with her children and made planned to “join a few public engagements over the summer,” however, she acknowledged that her “not out of the woods yet.”
“I am learning to remain patient particularly when I am in a state of the uncertainty. I am taking every daily day in the moment, observing to my body and allowing myself this time needed to recover,” she added.
