Pune’s real estate developer Vishal Agarwal’s 17-year-old son Vedant Agarwal is in the news since the last five days as a Porsche car of the Agarwal family allegedly driven by Vedant rammed into a bike on May 19 killing two people. Agarwals are a prominent real estate developer in Pune and have been doing business under the name of Bramha in Pune since the last four decades. Below are the five things to know about the business operations of the family:
1.) Agarwal family business verticals
The Agarwal family’s history dates back 40 years in the year Bramhadutt Agrawal founded BramhaCorp. According to their website is engaged in commercial and residential businesses as well as hospitality businesses. This company has been known for its luxurious hotels such as Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar and Sheraton Grand in Pune.

The company also participates in the construction of a number of luxurious and mid-priced residential developments within the Pune real estate market, along with commercial projects in the areas of Budhwarpeth Kalyani Nagar Pune Camp area and Bavdhan.

The Agarwal family recently had a separation following Covid-19. As according to that Vishal Agarwal has not been affiliated with BramhaCorp and has a business under the name of Brahma but using different suffixes, as per Pune property market experts HT Digital spoke with.

Not one, but Vishal Agarwal, along with his the wife Shivani Agarwal, and Shivkumar Agarwal, father of Vishal are connected to at least three real estate firms according to the reports that the family has made to Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA).
The three companies comprise Bramha Leisures Pvt Ltd, Brahma Multicon Private Limited, Brahma Multicon Pvt Ltd, and B and G developers.
