Rapper associated with Philadelphia street Gang ‘YBC’ was shot dead in Olney, according to sources.
The victim has been identified by sources to be Abdul Vicks, a well-known rapper who is part of the gang known as Young Bag Chasers (YBC).
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) (WPVI)– Philadelphia officers have been investigating an incident that claimed the life of one of the city’s most popular rappers deceased in Philadelphia’s Olney section.
The shots went off at 3:34 p.m. Friday in the block that runs from 5500 to N. 6th Street.
Police say that the male was wounded numerous times in the chest and in the hand. He was transported to a nearby hospital which was where he died.
The victim has been identified by sources to be Abdul Vicks, a well-known rapper known by the name of “YBC Dul.” He was a member of the gang known as Young Bag Chasers (YBC).

There have been no arrests made.
The reasons for the shooting are not disclosed.
Philadelphia Police are looking into another shooting that killed one man who was injured by a small child in the 600 block North 12th Street.
The shots went off at around 6:30 p.m. the previous Friday.
The police are still trying to find two suspects in this case.
