“Deadpool & Wolverine” may have finally landed in cinemas, but its the film’s stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman saved their most prestigious press tour date for last.

The duo travelled for San Diego Comic-Con along with the co-stars Emma Corrin, director Shawn Levy and Marvel chief Kevin Feige to present the Hall H audience with a surprise screening of the film on the day when it will premiere on the biggest screen around the world. Warning that there is spoiler-talk in the following paragraphs.

The event was named “The Ultimate Deadpool & Wolverine Celebration of Life,” took place at the close of a very hectic day of filming for Reynolds, Jackman and Levy who flew into San Diego from Los Angeles after Feige’s Walk of Fame Ceremony earlier on in the day.

The crowd walked onto the stage in a series of one-by-one fashion as if it were the typical Comic-Con panel. The program included Reynolds remembering his first trip the Comic-Con in the original “Deadpool” movie.

“I was the most nervous human being you would ever see,” Reynolds stated. “I was in an experience that was a dream fulfilled in a way however, I do remember making the film for you and I can remember how satisfying it was to know that everybody was a fan too.

He also said: “I feel like I could be able to connect with you in the way I wanted to connect. And it is a memory I will cherish for the rest of my life because that man was working behind the scenes …” and smiled at Jackman who was also part of the conversation to end this story.

“I was standing just over there,” Jackman began. “I looked through the video, and heard a song, which started with play”One more time, One more time, one more. I ran backstage and saw that the stage manager as well. I too requested that the video be played again. When you fail to display the footage two times, then the manager of stage will break Hall H into bits. ‘”

After conjuring up pleasant memory, Reynolds cued up a video featuring producer Leslie Uggams (in character as Blind Al) saying, “Can we get rid of the nonsense and show you the actual film?

The crowd (a huge crowd of over 6,500) was buzzing with excitement and the prizes they’d gotten to gather in the hall’s front H — namely, the highly desired (and very sexually insensitive) Wolverine-head-shaped popcorn bucketsseemed more logical. The lights dimmed inside the auditorium that was transformed into a mini cinema the ushers were throwing popcorn around in the air as Reynolds, Jackman, Feige and others. The chairs that fold in the crowd.

Over the course of two hours, the audience was captivated by the principal events, particularly the ones that involved Easter eggs and jokes. There was nothing that engaged the audience more than the film’s surprising appearances. Every time they introduced a new character, the audience erupted into laughter that painted a huge smile on Feige’s face while Feige enjoyed the whole event.

After the credits ended, they came back. Reynolds appeared visibly touched by the moment and declared it an “emotional honour and privilege to be standing with actor X-Man (Jackman).

Jackman said that watching this film along with of the members of Hall H as one of the most memorable experiences that he’s had throughout his life. “It’s been 24 years since I first played Wolverine,” Jackman stated, with a sincere thanks to Levy and Reynolds for allowing him to play the character again.

But, the couple couldn’t be on their own So they arranged for all the spoiler-rific comedians to take the stage, including Dafne Keen Jennifer Garner, Channing Tatum, Wesley Snipes, and Chris Evans (who Reynolds made sure to introduce by introducing the name Human Torch, specifically).

“The “Deadpool and Wolverine” celebration marks one of the two Hall H takeovers hosted by Marvel Studios. After this screening, Marvel Studios put on 10 minutes of drones, fireworks and an aerial display in Petco Park, with formations of Deadpool and Wolverine and Wolverine and Wolverine, along with a glimpse of what’s in store after Feige returns to the scene on Saturday. (If you’re in a position to read between the flashing lights, be prepared for major developments in “The Fantastic Four. “)

As of now it appears that the Marvel interest is at “Deadpool & Wolverine” -it also stars Morena Baccarin Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni and Matthew Macfadyen. The first projections reveal the superhero trilogy breaking records at the box office and raking in between $160 million to $170 million in four hundred North American theaters, and exceeding the film of 2016 “Deadpool” (which opened to $132 million) as the holder of the title. However, the excitement about the film (especially the mention of surprise appearances) could increase the amount for the three days to $200 million to $190 millions. (Disney has reportedly spent about $200 million for production and 100 million to promote the film. )

Feige, Reynolds, Levy and Lauren Shuler Donner produced the film and Louis D’Esposito, Wendy Jacobson, George Dewey, Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick and Simon Kinberg serving as executive producers. “Deadpool & Wolverine” is written by Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells and Levy.
