Serena Williams calls out Harrison Butker at the ESPYS 2024
At the 2024 ESPY Awards, Serena Williams took on Harrison Butker after the Kansas City Chiefs kicker’s controversial comments concerning women.

Serena Williams is bringing the heat at her performance at the 2024 ESPY Awards.
The tennis player did not shy away from putting her Harrison Butker’s talents to the test as the host of the sports awards ceremony took place at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre July 11. ( Check out the complete red carpet gowns below. )
In a conversation about the incredible feats performed by female athletes in the stage along with their sister Venus Williams and presenter Quinta Brunson, she also offered the opportunity to scold her coworkers Kansas City Chiefs kicker, who recently been accused of making controversial comments he made about women in the course of an Benedictine College commencement speech.
“Enjoy women’s sports, they’re just like other sports,” Venus addressed the crowd and encouraged Serena to join in “Except You Harrison Butker. “

Butker was present during his ceremony. But, the cameras weren’t able to capture his reaction.

Serena wasn’t the only celeb to speak out in response to Butker’s offensive remarks that included advising female students to inform their teachers that they “are most thrilled about your wedding and the children you’ll be bringing into the world. “
