SwitchArcade Round-Up: The Latest Nintendo Direct Arrives, Plus Sales From Capcom and More

Dear readers, and we’d like to welcome you this week’s SwitchArcade Round-Up for the 18th of June 2024. This may be the most awful time of year due to the time zone differences in my region as well as North America.

Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for June 18th, 2024. Today is perhaps the worst day of the year for the time zone difference between me and North America. Right now today’s big Nintendo Direct presentation is eight hours in the future for me, and I’ll be at home in my jammies by the time it goes live. At some point after that, this article will get posted. Likely due to that Direct, there’s not a whole lot to talk about today. I’ve got a link to the show here, plus the lists of the latest and expiring sales for the day. Let’s get to it!

News

Check Out Today’s Nintendo Direct Presentation

It’s a fun idea where I try to imagine that I have seen the Nintendo Direct already. Maybe I could make use of speculations to figure out what’s going on and suggest that I already have knowledge of specific RPGs or adventure games that are being made available for the Nintendo platform. It’s a joke from the past that we all are aware that I haven’t seen it. If you’ve not, play it now! I’m sure there are interesting games to be found within it. We’ll be discussing them tomorrow I’m sure. What’s that? 40 minutes on games that will be coming on Switch in the latter portion of this year? There’s bound to be some amazing things within!

Select New Releases

As I’ve mentioned previously I’m writing this post prior to my Nintendo Direct presentation. The article will be available in the days following, I’m certain. As I am looking at the latest releases for the day, it’s ( extremely suspiciously for the day of a Tuesday) blank. It is likely that there will be shadow drops after the Nintendo Direct, and I will be catching up the next day. Unfortunately, this is the best that I could do. We’ll see you again tomorrow, with hopefully some new and exciting games to explore.

Sales

(North American eShop, US Prices)

I’m not sure what we’ll need to put aside to purchase some new games today and if there’s something that’s left in your wallet, Capcom is looking to get it. Great deals of Resident Evil games as well as some very impressive sales on fighting bundles of games. The outbox is larger and has sales on the likes of Thunderful along with Limited Run Games coming to an end. You can only buy what you have to.

Today is over dear readers. Tomorrow we’ll have all the details at the Nintendo Direct, plus new releases and sales. I’m trying to keep my expectations under control considering where we are on the timeline that is the Nintendo Switch. We’re hoping that future Shaun had a blast with what he experienced. I’ll be able to tell when I’m Shaun, if I am lucky. I wish you all a wonderful Tuesday. an awesome Tuesday. And as always, thank you for reading!
