Team America’s Jagger Eaton as well as Nyjah Huston clinched podium spots just behind Japan’s Yuto Horigome. Both skaters were able to speak about their performance afterward.

No additional words are needed.

“That was a great moment that I had,” Huston said. “After everything that was happening, finishing and being tested I was simply skating along the streets and taking in the experience. The video showed the street skater in me.

“I’m supposed to become a skateboarder and I’m thrilled to be an avid skater. Of course, being able to do things like this is fantastic but having the ability to earn money from what we truly love is the most rewarding part.”

Huston placed third (279.38) just behind U.S. teammate Jagger Eaton (281.04) and Jagger Eaton, who is from Cardiff. The Japanese team of Yuto Horigome (281.14) has was able to defend the gold medal he won.
