Tyler The Creator was the headliner at Lollapalooza along with Outside Lands in 2021, to promote his debut album “Call Me if You Get Lost.” In April Tyler, the Creator was the headliner at Coachella shortly after the launch on the expansion “Call Me if You Get Lost: The Estate Sale.” In his headline Coachella performance in April, he brought on Childish Gambino A$AP Rocky, Charlie Wilson and Kali Uchis.
“Tyler is a master conceptualizer, and knows how to toy with the various frequencies of his stage, dimming the lights for reflective moments and dancing around shooting flames during more electrified songs,” Variety‘s Steven J. Horowitz described the performance. “But in spite of the gimmicks and bells of the show, Tyler controls the spotlight. It’s hard to take your eyes off of him and during the entire 80-minute final performance of the day the energy of both Tyler as well as the audiencedid not diminish even when Tyler paused for a moment to rest and recover between songs (or at one point eating a sandwich before sitting in the front of a tent in green halfway through ‘IFHY’. ‘).”
