Following a huge public outrage over the Pune Porsche accident, there was a video was released of a young boy who claimed to be 17-year-old who is believed to have been involved in the death of two people when his fast-paced luxury car crashed into them, and singing the rap tune that is based on the crash is gaining popularity via social media. But a media fact-check has revealed that the person in the video wasn’t the person in the Pune crash suspect, but rather an Instagram influencer who is based in Delhi.
In reality his mother, who is boy who was 17 has also asked authorities for help to “protect” her son after the video, which was believed to show his exaggerating about the way he managed to get out of the accident was made viral.
In a video message the mother of the teen stated that the video clip was not related to her son, and claimed that it was a hoax.
“The video which is being circulated is not of my son. That is a fake video. My son is in the detention centre,” writes the teenager’s mother in her post.
In a plea to the police for help to “protect” her son, the mother breaks down and then shows her video. In a state of panic and get her back together, she walks off from her camera.

But a recent fact-check done by India Today found that the person in the video wasn’t the teen from Pune but the Delhi-based Instagram influencer by the name of Aryan.
In addition, several Marathi news websites and channels also claimed that this footage revealed the Pune teenager who has been charged with killing 2 persons when driving drunk in a state.
