Watch Jelly Roll Premiere Rousing Single ‘Burning’ on ‘Kimmel’
Jelly Roll performed on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on the show to sing his brand new track “Burning.”

Jelly Roll stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform his new song “Burning,” appearing on the late-night show’s outdoor stage alongside his band and back-up singers. Guest host Martin Short announced the musician, who offered an upbeat performance of the previously-unheard track — complete with fire.
Jelly Roll then sat down to talk with Short to discuss his songwriting process during his time in prison as well as his latest song, “I Am Not Okay.” Jelly Roll also used the occasion to reveal the title of his forthcoming album, due released in the season (“Jelly Roll’s music prefers autumn,” he hinted) and also to announce that the tour has added 16 dates to his coming stage tour.
The tour will also include Canada this is an important moment for the musician considering that the singer has just admitted to facing some difficulties traveling outside of his home country of the U.S. due to his criminal background.
“It took American 38 years to let me leave and now I got to convince other countries to let me come,” Short said. Short in the interview, before asking some “Canada questions” about the country’s language and the term Canadian bacon in Canada.

Jelly Roll dropped “I Am Not Okay” earlier in the month, announcing the singer’s first solo release since his smash 2023 album Whitsitt Chapel. It’s also the first official track from Jelly Roll’s forthcoming album. The singer released the track in October during”The Voice” Season Finale in The Voice. The following week at the 2024 ACM Awards, he premiered another song that was not yet released, “Liar,” which is also scheduled to appear on the upcoming album.
Jelly Roll’s tour begins on August. 27, in Salt Lake City, Utah. In the past few months, he’s performed at numerous events and has made some memorable guest appearances during his Stagecoach performance, he played T-Pain to cover the song by Toby Keith “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” At Welcome to Rockville, he joined forces with Limp Bizkit for their cover of the Who’s “Behind Blue Eyes”; at Hangout the singer sang “Sweet Home Alabama” with Lana Del Rey; in Dallas where he performed “Cowboy” with Kid Rock (in an actual Cybertruck, no less) And the most recent time in Detroit the two of them joined Eminem to perform an updated song called “Sing for the Moment.”
