BJP has released that the candidates’ names will be announced for four by-elections
Calcutta: BJP has announced the names of its candidates in the West Bengal Assembly By Election in four constituencies of the assembly. Kalyan Choubey has been announced as the candidate from Maniktala. Manas Ghosh has been announced as the BJP candidate for Raiganj. Manoj Biswas is contesting on BJP ticket in Ranaghat South Assembly. BJP has been fielding Vinay Biswas to contest in Baghdad.
The Lok Sabha polls, the BJP has won both Ranaghat and Bangaon the two constituencies that are dominated by Matua. On the other the other hand, Trinamool has nominated Mamata Tagore’s daughter Madhuparna Tagore to contest the Bagda by-election. Soma Thakur, who is a part from the Matua family from Thakurnagar is a possible candidate for the BJP from all parts of Baghdar. She is the spouse of the Union Minister as well as BJP Member of Parliament Shantanu Thakur.
